Content of courses
Mind and body Connection: We will delve into your emotions, your anxieties, your fears and explore the nervous system together. Learn about your hormones, your amazing birthing muscles and what you need emotionally as you prepare for birth. You will leave this session with more confidence and a brilliant calm breathing technique.
Labour and birth: from a hypnobirthing perspective! We will go into the stages of labour, what to expect, what is normal and what is not. We will look at beneficial labour positions and birth positions. Look at scenarios and what your body needs and wants, how best your partner can support you. Your partner will learn practical tools and we will have them feeling confident with them!
Your choices: In depth hypnobirthing learning around all your choices and options for labour and birth. We will look into unplanned and unexpected concerning scenarios and look to install confidence so you are able to communicate effectively with your wider birth team on the day.
Mindful post birth planning: If you would love to breastfeed, you need to educate yourself before baby is born. Understanding the benefits of feeding, looking at realistic expectations of those first few weeks. Getting comfortable with positioning and attachment enabling you to start the journey in a positive way and if you need to reach out for support you can do so with confidence. Learning how to put a nappy on, expectations for the first few weeks with your newborn.
